Museum in 90 Minutes

Museum in 90 Minutes

National Museum as we see it today, is an abode to over two lakh artefacts including sculptures, paintings, manuscripts, coins, decorative arts, textiles, etc. Spending a minute with each artefact in the National Museum's collection, would take three years, nine months and twenty three days to view each item. Museum in 90 minutes is an initiative, a tour, curated to provide an overview of the masterpieces from the museum's collection.

This tour provides an introduction to our collection, enabling visitors to set foot on some of Museum's "Must visit" places, for those who wish to explore the museum in great depth, it provides an entry point from which to view our collection. It encapsulates the diverse collection of the Museum through 25 art objects, representing some of the most notable items and include elements that showcase the historical and stylistic breadth and diversity of objects on display.
