NM Sketchbook Series
Welcome to National Museum, New Delhi.
This series invites and encourages our audiences to engage with NM collection virtually and physically. Through this series, we make an attempt at introducing our audiences to take inspiration from antiquities housed at the museum and sketch.
• Visitors, who are accessing the collection virtually, can visit our online portal www.museumsofindia.gov.in/repository and select any object as their inspiration.
• You can also sketch in the museum galleries as you visit the museum.
• Sketching enthusiast can collect art materials from the Lecturing & Education Department. We would be providing basics like Drawing Sheets, Pencil, Sharpener and Eraser.
• You can also collect drawing boards as well as easels from the department.
• We have a limited number of easels and drawing boards; hence you are encouraged to pre-book by emailing at educationnationalmuseum@gmail,.com
• All art materials will have to be returned to the L&E Department by 5:30 pm
• Drawing enthusiasts are encouraged to take their sketches along with them, or they could also pin it on the “NM Sketch Book Wall”.
